Why do you think that Christianity is on the way out?

Of that 2000 years, much of that time you were forced to be a christian or die. It has only been the last 300 years that science has really kicked in and helped dispel many superstition of the past. So we are basically waiting for the cycle of being raised christian to end. As more people figure out the flaws of christianity, those people will not raise their children christian. So we still have some generations to go through before christianity becomes a minority religion and possibly fades away as a myth. We know that church attendance is way down and we also know many claim to be christian, whether it be to gain votes, or do business with christians, or possibly just to be left alone from other christians. Christianity has pretty much hit and passed it's peak and is quickly fading from Europe and other parts of the world. America is the last of the developed nations to cling to it, but to be fair we are a very young country compared to the rest of the countries.

Hard to find a career job in vancouver...?

I've graduated for a year now and I am finding it difficult to land a good career job in Vancouver Canada. I have a bachelor degree in Forest resource management, which i find is quite useless in finding jobs. It is also true for art degree graduates and certain science graduates as well. Okay soo i have heard that the average girl speed for a 100m dash is 12-13 sec. but i dont think thats right. I have raced alot of girls and their times were around 15 and plus sec. I agree, but it is probably from the shock of their problem that makes them negative.it may also stem from the feeling that they, themselves, can't do anything to help. My father had a heart attack when i was in third grade and i honestly just believed he would die(as the doctor assured us), but he didn't. anyway i think it comes from the loss of hope.

I love alot of what I do, I love my patients, but I have alot of frustrations as well. I don't like that there is not alot of room for advancement, with the exception of practice management, which I do not have an interest in. There are a few other things, but I won't go too far into details. I have been looking into entering an LPN program for a career change, and was wondering if you could answer some questions. What types of facilties are you employed at or have you been employed at? What types of limitations do you have legally (that cannot be corrected by an additional certification}? If this is true, it's clearly discriminatory, but not racist...that term is way overused. But this is an issue that the company will eventually have to deal with one way or the other. In the meantime, there's nothing written in stone that says you have to be happy for her, but until she has the chance to prove/disprove her capabilities, and if it is true that she had nothing to do with this...it would be absolutely wrong to punish HER for it...let alone quit your job over it. And as for resenting her, it would be wise to remember...for those who decide to stay with the company...that, like it or not, she will be in a position of authority. i'm planning a romantic vacation for my girlfriend and myself this year. she's wanting to go to Jamaica and wants to try a resort. Thus far i've been looking at Sandals and Couples. I like the "look" of sandals as far as their website goes (couples website isn't much informative and not as appealing as sandals). My concerns though is that Sandals (from what i read on trip advisor.com) uses a tier system when it comes to guest...i.e.... butler serviced guests get ahead of the line before others, even if we've waited inline. Apparently making reservations at restaurants on the resort is a challenge b/c of this. and people w/o butler service aren't treated as nicely? also I have read several complaints about the pool area and the fact that you need to get up around 6am just ot reserve chairs...other wise if you had a butler you wouldnt have to worry about that. and the food from what I've read is distasteful......where as Couples doesnt have much of the same issues, mainly b/c they don't have a tier system. and I also noticed that w/ couples i was able to resverve an Ocean front room w/ a jaccuzi spa in it for half the price than at Sandals.....so I was wondering which would be better for both my experience and my money..... Sandals resort? or the Couples resort?

Hooked up car cd player and it doesnt work.?

So I bought a new cd player and when I took out my old the wire plugin didn't match my new one. So I looked at each set of wires and I cut off the old plugin. I grounded the black wire with the metal piece to a screw inside my dash. Then I split the same wires of each set and twisted them together and then used electrical tape to cover them. There were some extra cords but I had no where to hook them up so I wrapped them up so they wouldn't just be open inside of the dash. I then plugged in the power (or antenna) not sure which one it was but it fit my new cd player as well. I then put my dash back together and screw in and plug back in everything I had messed with in order to get to my cd player. I turn my car on to see if my cd player works and I here it make a noise (the cd player itself) but it didn't come on. No lights, no sound, nothing. What did I do wrong? How do I make it work??

Are men who brag about the size of their penis more likely to be hiding something?

I am a 17 years old male. At school I am constantly hearing other guys in some way bragging about their penis size. I have even witnessed two kids in my class in an argument over which one of the two has a larger penis even though neither had ever seen each other's penises. The statistics in the argument were hilarious at best, numbers such as 12 inches were thrown around a lot without any real thought, of course, the whole argument being witnessed by girls in my class, I got the severely shallow feeling that the entire confrontation was an act to impress these girls. My question is; are men who feel the need to tell the world that they have a huge penis more likely to be insecure about their penal size than men who do not feel the need to? I can't stand my uncle's jokes!!!?

They're not rude or prejudice or anything like that. They're slightly persecutory, but intended to be in good fun. Some of these jokes would go along the lines of "hey, you're a good for nothing blah blah blah" in a surly tone, as if telling you off for something. I'm a very serious person, and spend most of my time with people of similar personality types as me. When someone makes a joke such as this one, I get caught completely off guard, and don't know where to put myself. I take what they say literally. Once I went to my aunt and uncle's place, and my uncle came at me with one of these 'jokes', and my anxiety and blood pressure went through the roof, to the point where I nearly burst into tears. I felt so horible in making him angry that I just wanted to pass out. I seriously thought I did something that upset him. (There are a lot of things that young people do that elderly people don't approve of). But I soon realized that he was actually joking, and forced myself to laugh. His facial expression and tone of voice remained the same, and I was back to thinking he was really angry. He then realized that he had 'got me', like he always does, and laughed at me. I know he's well intentioned, making people laugh, but I just wish he wouldn't do this. I'm a highly strung person, and always concerned about what people think of me. I sometimes don't even understand sarcasm. How do I know when my uncle is joking? I know we're both to blame, but who is more to blame?

I'm gonna warn all of you its a bunch of Facebook drama so here goes. The past week was filled with drama. My mother in-law misunderstands everything i say and gets really upset. Last weekend I was supposed to see a movie with my husband but he had to go to his parents house to cut the grass. it was the least he could do since they spotted him some gas money since his job doesn't pay that well. well i was upset because my mother in-law and sister in-law were going to the movies that very exact day my husband had to cut the grass. They didn't invite me but kept talking about it like they were rich big shots because they have money and my husband and I do not. Later on i post a status on Facebook to rub in her face. It said, "when i get a job my husband and i are gonna go to the beach and no one and no financial troubles are going to ruin our plans." then i put up that i miss my family (because ive only seen them 4 times in the past 6 months) My mother in-law gets all huffy and puffy and starts all kinds of drama and tells everyone how ungrateful i am because they do so much for us (which they do and i appreciate it greatly) But she misunderstood that i wanted my husband and i to have no one ruin our plans and she thought it was that i was mad about not going to the movies.. The she commented on my other status about me missing my family and was asking why she wasn't family and why i didn't miss her (i don't miss her because i see her every Thursday and sometimes days in between) I was mad at her because she was mad at me. but i didn't wanna be mean to her because i still like her (even though she can be annoying.) So i went in a distasteful path and started to become two-faced. On this path of being two-faced, i send a message to my sister about how she was doing and she asks "do you really think your mother in law is a good person?" (my sister asked this because my mother in-law was cussing and fussing with everyone on my status and fighting with everyone) i said, "no. im two faced to the core right now. i honestly cant stand her sh** right now." My mother in-law continued being upset for awhile so in order for her to stop i had to apologize (also i wanted to apologize because it felt like the right thing to do) so i apologize. Once i apologize things felt a little bit better. I still couldn't shake off the lingering awkwardness that was created between the two of us so i became distant. A week later (which was today...well yesterday since its 1 AM lol) she let me use her laptop. So i logged onto facebook. I was on for a bit then i got off the computer (but not facebook) so that my husband could check his email. When he was done, i never went back to log off of facebook. so the whole night everything was fine. Then around 7 or 8:30 PM (we were staying over for dinner), i find her with her laptop and sniffling and she takes it to her bedroom and i hear her crying. I felt bad but it felt awkward so i went outside. My sister in-law was acting strange and wasn't saying anything to me so that intensified the awkwardness. I come back home and my sister in law is calling me a fat b**ch who sits and eats all day. My mother in-law is telling everyone with whom i have good reputation with about how bad i am. They are telling her if they were her they'd disown me and all kinds of bad stuff. Well my husband and i was confused and we find out my mother in-law was SNOOPING ON MY FACEBOOK! and saw about how i was "two faced to the core and i couldnt stand her sh**" in order for her to see my message she'd have had to have snooped around and click on stuff she shouldn't be clicking on. But i find that disrespectful. Whenever i get on her computer (which is whenever i ask permission first or am offered to use it) her facebook is always up and i dont ever snoop on her facebook ever. i simply log her out and log myself in. My husband was talking to her and she was complaining to him about me. My husband was listening and understanding her and letting her vent but she said "im done talking to you. i dont want to talk to you. bye." And then he just laughed and called her a drama queen. What i dont understand is that she is the one that starts talking to him about her problems. she is now saying shes never gonna help us out ever again. Well she doesn't even have a job and doesn't even try to find one. My father in-law has a job that he works 12 hours for seven days a week and she goes and blows it on cupcakes and concerts. anyway thank you for reading this whole thing. To the vegetarians; how do you prepare your rice and lentils?

Soak lentils for a few hours, add lentils and fresh water to a pot, slightly cover and bring to a boil. I also add various spices like cardamom, coriander, black pepper, cumin, salt, etc. I tend to use recipes, but when I'm making food from my head I season as I go. I prefer my dal very thick, not soupy like some people. For rice, I use ratios I find online. My boyfriend likes to saute uncooked rice in some oil and onions, then add water and cook until the water is gone. It tastes very good, and honestly, I love adding ketchup to rice.

97 Saturn SL2 Electrical Problem?

On my Saturn, it happens in 2 places. If it happens when the vehicle is cold, When accelerating, the Transmission will be stuck in D4. if the short happens when the car is hot, you will be traveling about 75 MPH on the interstate, and the guages will go dim, and the volt meter will bottom out, like you turned the key off. It is the same response when the car is cold. It is like you turned the key off, but the engine still runs fine. The only difference I have found which is major is when it is cold and it acts up, the volt meter bottoms out like the key is turned off, and it will not shift. When hot at night, you can see all the lights go dim, the AC blower motor slows down, etc. Any ideas? ALREADY REPLACED THE IGNITION SWITCH UNDER THE DASH.

Triumph Daytona 675 will not start......?

Yesterday, my 2008 Triumph Daytona 675 would not start for the 1st time, after push starting it and riding it for a while, it would not start again. Bought a brand new battery from the Triumph Dealership and put it in, and it still would not start. Took it to a local auto parts store and they tested and charged it, put it in and it still will not start. Dash and lights turn on fully. In Neutral, with the clutch down, when I push the starter, it makes a single click noise and a quite long squeaking noise. Any help???

I got into a car accident, not my fault!?

I got into an accident today & it was not my fault. I had the right of way and was doing the speed limit but she cut in front of me and by the time I saw what she was doing, I beeped the horn for her to move but she didnt even look til I hit her. I broke the dash board with my knee and hit my head. No major injuries but the cop said it was her fault. My insurance towed my car and my insurance is paying for a rental. I looked at the paperwork the cop gave me and her car was a rental and it just says self insured. I had a mechanic look at my car just to give me an idea and he says it looks like a total loss because of the chasity. Of course I have to wait and see but I am nervous. This was my first accident & I havent even had my car for a full 31 days. I was actually going to pick up my tag from the dealer. Anyone have any ideas about what happens in this situation!

Installing a tachometer in a '97 Ford Escort?

I'm looking into getting a '97 Ford Escort 5 speed, and everything is perfect except it doesn't have a tach, which bothers me. I've driven it and it's not a huge problem, but I'd like to have one so I can rev it higher if I want without damaging the engine, or be able to keep my revs low to save gas, etc etc. What would it cost to either install a tach, or have one installed? It doesn't have to be part of the gauge cluster, I can put it on the dash or something if that's cheaper, since it won't have to be integrated.

I've got an 04 ford fiesta. Been running fine. Drove home from work no problems. Got out for about half hour. Jumped back in with my kids. Went to start car and it stalled, I think my son in front was playing with hear stick and I didn't notice he had left it in hear for me. Back into neutral turned key nothing! Couple dash lights came on and flashed and instead of the engine starting there was a clicking noise, a bit like an indicator. My partner topped up all the waters and battery. Still lights flashing but this time instead of clicking it was an engine start noise, but sounded more like the car coughed it was so short lived. In the end neighbours helped to jump start. Drove it to my mums to drop kids off about 8 miles there and back, left it running on advice of my partner. Got home turned ignition off left it for a couple minutes. Turned it back on and again flashing dash lights and that clicking sound! Any ideas what it could be? Booked into garage for tomorrow really hope its just the battery! I was in town the about a month or two ago and I ran into my daughter and her step mother out shopping. I had told my daughter I was flying in because I had to handle business related things at the company, so I wasn't going to see her until a little bit later that day. Either way, like I said I ran into her and her step mom (a little earlier than expected) and the woman and I started to talk briefly. Then the conversation somehow got into the fact that she's pregnant and she wants me to come to her baby shower. I don't live near them ( I live on the other side of the country, but I am there frequently because of my husbands company) so it's not a problem of me getting there, I just don't feel like being around my daughters fathers side of the family. I mean there really isn't any hard feelings there between the family and I (I was never married to her father) but I feel a little awkward there and a bit much of an intruder. I do have a pretty open friendship with her, I just never thought she would invite me to her party like on the spot like that . I specifically went shopping with my daughter the other day to pick up some items for the new baby and the shower is supposed to be this weekend but now I feel like only sending the gifts and a card with well wishes instead. Will that make me look distasteful? I was going to bake a pie to send over there for the party as well.

2005 chevy trail blazer problem?

the ac is not working the blower motor works it just wont turn on by the switch and the lights on the dash are coming on to also(they are the ones i listed) the 4wd,and ABS lights are on and they wont work either the fuses are under the left side back seat and they are not blown they just are not getting power to them this is just one of a few fuse boxes in it but the 4wd,AC,ABS fuses are all in the same row they are the ONLY ones not getting power along with a few more fuses in that row (there is like 2 more fuses in that row) once again there is not a problem with any parts they are just not turning on or working but if you take them out and hook them up to a tool we have they work fine i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or knows what it could be

dude, first I caught this one in my left thigh while we were doing stretches. Ok, so my boss is a very well off handicapped man, who I work for in his home, I have been working their for like 2 years or so. I have a co-worker who takes care of my boss during the night, and he lives with my boss. My boss buys his food, pays his bills,car insurance, attorney fee's, and he doesn't pay rent or electricity or any bill. my boss also pays him a hand written check every week with no taxes taken out of it. My co-worker is on a local aid-program to receive assistance with doctors fee's ect. , it is based on income, which I'm almost positive he is not claiming, also my boss claims my co-worker on his taxes as a dependent, even though the co-worker is 28 years old and is of no relation to my boss. I am not sure but believe my co-worker is also receiving government assistance SSI for being unable to work, he mentioned to me numerous times that all one has to do to get SSI is to act stupid and pretend to have learning disorders or something to that effect. What really bothers me is that he screams at my boss, swears at him makes very distasteful statements about him, he has 3 pitbulls who he beats and I have seen him throw/kick them down the stairs to the basement where he lives, the dogs are now becoming violent and I have to go into the basement at times to get insulin(which my boss keeps downstairs), recently 1 of the dogs grabbed the coat sleeve of a contractor who had to get into the basement, I went to help get the dogs into another room(because my wo-worker who owns them was not there at the time) and he tried to bite me, when I told my co-worker and boss(at the same time in the same room) my co-workers smiled and said "good maybe you should call me when you want in the basement". My boss sat and said nothing, and now my co-worker used the excuse that "everyone is out to get him and try to sue him over his dogs" to build a wall in the basement and convert half of it basically into his own apartment. so yeah idea.. beat dogs... let attack co-worker... get apt? I am constantly seeing my co-worker treat my boss so badly, but my boss just doesn't seem to care. I'm very close to my boss and have had lengthly conversations about why he keeps my co-worker around or how entitled I am to safety when My co-worker smiles and laughs about his dog trying to bite me, and nothing I can say will change his mind..... so I would like to know if any of the tax stuff or anything is illegal, any help would be appreciated.

2005 Chevrolet Cavalier Deck Install?

I have an aftermarket deck that I would like to install in my cavalier. In the past I had wired it to my truck and all I needed was a $20 wiring harness and dash kit. My horse is overweight and a big eater, what the best horse feed to put him on?

i'm assuming you're from america by the things your horse is in training for so i can't really recommend any brand specific horse feeds because I think they might be different there however i can recommend maybe a low sugar, high fibre diet. if you don't want to feed him less maybe try exercising him more. have you thought about maybe lunging him if you don't have time to ride or riding for longer uphill - obviously working slowly to build his fitness. what i tend to do as well is just feed pony nuts with lots of carrots and apples and possibly a tiny bit of chaff and then mix in a good dose of vitamin powder (horse dependent, i used to use ones for the older generation) so he'll still get the nutrients and still be in his feed routine but wont be getting any of the calories. balance this with a good exercise program and he should be fit and slim in no time :)

I can play all of them, but when I try to play story mode on Hometown Hero, it says Diner Dash has stopped working and closes out the program. I blew my dash lights in my 97 nissan. How do i fix it?

my headlight went out and I pulled over and hurried to see if the connection was loose. Forgot to take the keys out and my radio was on. South Park fans: Season 15 opener: 'HUMANCENTiPAD' more distasteful than funny?

Well, it was ok. I did not think Cartman's character had really changed as he did act quite innocent (particularly when he was crying in the car). South Park is known to base episodes on films etc. I did not think it was that bad. Some of it was a bit sickening but most of it was still funny. Just forget about it. South Park is a great show. It did include some jokes like te one about that Kyle wouldn't be eating Japanese food in a while. That was quite funny. I know it was not as funny as previous episodes but it was not all bad. The other episodes in this season sound good. I have seen another from the new series (Funny Bot) and heard about others. They sound hilarious. Especially the one I read about called 'Royal Pudding'. Do not let one episode change your opinion of the show.

I chose to become a CNA to make myself stand out while applying to nursing schools. I've only been working as a CNA for about six months. There are no real challenges to doing this job. Some of the pros: short amount of schooling, a good way to get your foot in the door for a medical career. Some cons: low salary (around $20-30,000 yearly in my area), some activities of daily living are not for those with a weak stomach. I would say that the hardest thing for me to learn was the perineal care of both male and female patients and how to handle it professionally. They don't recruit for this job because it's really the bottom of the nursing totem-pole. Usually, experience is not necessary because you'll just be dealing with basic activities. As for advancement, you can become a PCA 2, which just means more responsibility and more detailed patient care (changing wound dressings, etc.). I think this is a great idea if you're going even if you don't plan on becoming a nurse int he future. I work with people that have been in this position for 10 and 15 years. I am beginning to think of this position less of a transition and more of a self-sustaining position.

1996 Chevy s10 air circulation problem?

I have a 1996 Chevy s10 pickup. 2.2L 4cyl engine. The air conditioner works just fine, and blows cold air. My problems is that it doesn't flow out of the vents on the dash board. It blows out of the top vent by the windshield and the bottom near the pedals. We replaced the vacuum line to the vacuum canister and it didn't help anything.

I had a track meet today and now i am sick?

i had a track meet from 6 am- 2 pm today and i ran 5 events. the 1/2 mile, the 1 mile, the 4 mile relay (i ran 1/2 a mile), the 500 meter dash, and last the 5 mile, in that order. i had water and fruit and afterwards we went out to lunch. when i got home from lunch i realized i had a fever, and a terrible headache. im pretty sure i didn't have a fever before the meet...but i cant be positive. my throat is sore and my back and stomach and legs are achy. i have a doctors appointment in 2 days.. so i will ask then..but any advice on what i have? what do you think it is? what should i do? is it because of the running?

I've got an 04 ford fiesta. Been running fine. Drove home from work no problems. Got out for about half hour. Jumped back in with my kids. Went to start car and it stalled, I think my son in front was playing with hear stick and I didn't notice he had left it in hear for me. Back into neutral turned key nothing! Couple dash lights came on and flashed and instead of the engine starting there was a clicking noise, a bit like an indicator. My partner topped up all the waters and battery. Still lights flashing but this time instead of clicking it was an engine start noise, but sounded more like the car coughed it was so short lived. In the end neighbours helped to jump start. Drove it to my mums to drop kids off about 8 miles there and back, left it running on advice of my partner. Got home turned ignition off left it for a couple minutes. Turned it back on and again flashing dash lights and that clicking sound! Any ideas what it could be? Booked into garage for tomorrow really hope its just the battery! Any advice or ideas much appreciated thank you!
