Give me reasons why you breastfeed?

my husband is very anti breastfeeding, he has been brought up in a family who find it a foreign concept and think it is weird and distasteful, i am trying to convince him it is actually really good, i want to try and convince him to let me breastfeed until she is 3 months old so atleast she gets some of it or even just being able to pump.
