How does technological advancements effect globalization?

i have my history final on Monday and one of my essay questions is that! but it is also extended. THE FULL QUESTION IS= how has technological advancements lead to change in globalization and how does globalization lead to a global inequity? some one help me i have no idea what to do !!!!!
