My daughter started SMOKING... Should I make her eat it?

We found my 19 year old's pack of cigs next to the sink. She says, she only smokes socially at parties, now and then. My grandfather made my uncle eat a cigar, when he found him smoking one. It is distasteful, but it did the trick. He NEVER smoked again. I don't want my pretty girl to get yellow teeth and nails and smell like an ashtray! HELP!!!
